COI Chicago Recap

The Conflict Of Interest party hit Chicago’s Double Door on Thursday, August 2nd for a full night of great bands and great food.

The night kicked off with an amazing set from New York City’s Ambassadors. The band got the crowd moving and primed for an epic evening.

Next up, newcomers Royal Teeth took the stage. The band recently released their debut EP Act Naturally on Dangerbird Records and performed songs from it including a great rendition of The Knife’s “Heartbeats.” They ended their set with the unbelievably catchy, “Wild” (the band’s first official single).

FIDLAR took the stage around 10:30pm and quickly worked the crowd into a frenzy. The L.A. band’s energetic singalong set inspired everyone’s hands in the air and even a little bit of crowd surfing.

Lastly, Delta Spirit took the stage for a 60 minute headlining set featuring songs from their entire discography, including standouts like “Tear It Up” and “California” from their critically-acclaimed self-titled album.

In addition to great music, the entire audience was treated to Doritos Locos Tacos and Bean Burritos on demand all night long.

Our friends at FUSE were on hand to catch-up with some of the bands. Check out their interviews with Ambassadors, Royal Teeth, and FIDLAR here.
